PostBud
Privacy Policy

PostBud is an iPhone and iPad app that turns the video clips you pick into one finished video. It is made and operated by AI Daily Dose LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy says what PostBud collects, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Questions: admin@useaidailydose.com.
- Your original clips stay in your Photos library. PostBud never uploads them.
- To choose a cut, PostBud sends a small, low-resolution preview of your clips, their audio, and a still image of each clip to our servers, and from there to AI services that transcribe speech and help pick the cut.
- We ask for your agreement in the app before anything is sent.
- No ads. No tracking across apps or websites. We do not sell your data.
- You can delete any video, or your whole account, in the app at any time.
1. What we collect

The finished video is built on your device from the originals in your Photos library and saved to Photos. We do not receive the finished video.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, advertising identifier, or browsing activity. Clips may carry a capture time; PostBud does not read or upload a clip's location.
2. AI services and other companies that process data for us
PostBud's cut is made with the help of third-party AI services. Before your first upload the app tells you this and asks for your agreement. These companies process data on our behalf, under their terms for business customers, to provide the service to you:

We use these companies' services for businesses, not their consumer products, and we send them only what the task needs. Each company handles data under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not give your content to anyone for advertising.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.
3. How we use information
- To provide PostBud: transcribe, choose the cut, write captions, apply your edits, and send your device the instructions to build the video.
- To run accounts, plans and the monthly video allowance.
- To notify you when a cut is ready, if you allow notifications.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve how well Bud cuts videos, using measurements and records of edits. We do not use your footage to train our own AI models without asking you first.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. How long we keep it
- The low-resolution preview video: up to 7 days after it is uploaded, then deleted automatically; sooner if you delete the video or your account, or when a newer preview of the same video replaces it. After that, a new cut of an older video asks your device to upload the preview again.
- The uploaded audio of a video's clips: until you delete the video or your account. We may delete it automatically sooner, about 14 days after a video's last activity on the free plan and about 60 days on a paid plan.
- The stills, cut plan, transcript and edit history of a video: up to about one year after its last activity, or until you delete the video or your account.
- Account and purchase records: while your account exists. Records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons are kept as long as the law requires.
- Diagnostic logs: the app's progress log of a video (timings, errors, file names, device state; never your words or footage) is kept on our servers for 7 days after it is sent, then deleted automatically, and sooner if you delete your account. Our hosting provider's live log stream keeps its copy for a few days.
Deleting a video in the app removes that video's uploaded files and records from our servers. Deleting your account removes every video, file and record we hold for you, and your sign-in. Videos saved to your Photos library are yours and are not affected. Backups and the AI services' short-term logs may take a little longer to clear.
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete: delete a video, or your account, in the app (tap Bud on the home screen, then Delete account), or email us.
- Access, copy, correct: email us and we will tell you what we hold and give you a copy, or correct it.
- Notifications and Photos access: change these in iOS Settings at any time. PostBud works with limited Photos access.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel in your Apple account settings.
We answer requests within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
United States
Depending on your state (for example California), you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. Footage can include sensitive information; we use it only to provide the service. To use your rights, email admin@useaidailydose.com. You may use an authorized agent.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
AI Daily Dose LLC is the controller of your personal data. Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (providing PostBud, accounts and plans); your consent (sending your footage to the AI services named above, and notifications), which you can withdraw at any time by stopping use and deleting your videos or account; our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, fixing problems, improving the service); and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can complain to your local data protection authority. We would like the chance to help first: admin@useaidailydose.com.
We are based in the United States, and our servers and the companies above process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, or a provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
If you film other people, you are responsible for having the right to do so and to process that footage with PostBud.
Canada
You may ask for access to, and correction of, your personal information, and withdraw consent, by emailing us. Your information is processed in the United States and may be accessible to authorities there under U.S. law.
6. Children
PostBud is not for children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the age of digital consent in your country without a parent's permission). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to our systems is limited and protected. Device checks help keep other software from pretending to be the app. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you as the law requires.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change applies to you.
