Common questions
Do my clips leave my phone?
Your originals never do. PostBud sends a small, low-resolution preview, the audio and a still image of each clip you pick so Bud can choose the cut. The finished video is built on your device from the originals and saved to Photos. See the Privacy Policy.
What counts as a video?
A video counts when you start its cut, not when you pick clips. Cutting it again, editing the parts, fixing captions and adding a voiceover all stay part of that video. Clips you add to it later use minutes, not another video. Plan videos refill every month; your 2 free videos are yours once.
Bud's cut or My order?
In Bud's cut, Bud picks the moments and the order to tell the story. In My order, your clips stay in the order you drag them into, and Bud only takes out the pauses, the filler and the repeated takes, keeping the better one (when you filmed the same moment twice, only the better take stays). Clips with no talking play in full.
The video says it cannot find a clip
PostBud builds from the originals in Photos. If a clip was deleted, or is still downloading from iCloud, the build cannot use it. Open Photos, make sure the clip is there and downloaded, then build again.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. To move a purchase to a new phone, open Plans in PostBud and tap Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a single video from the home screen (press and hold it). To delete everything, tap Bud on the home screen and choose Delete account. That removes every video, file and record we hold for you. Videos you saved to Photos stay with you. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel that in Settings first.
